Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) has launched admissions for a range of advanced cybersecurity courses, offered in partnership with Transcendental Technologies. These courses, recognized by Direct Action International UK and the Canadian Association for Security and Intelligence Studies in Vancouver, Canada, are tailored to provide comprehensive training for students, professionals, and law enforcement personnel.

The courses available include:

1. Advanced Course in Cyber Security Specialist (CSS)

– Duration: 2 months

– Credits: 18

2. Advanced Course in Mastering Information Security (MIS)

– Duration: 6 months

– Credits: 20

3. Advanced Short-Term Course in Cyber Crime Investigator (CCI)

– Duration: 6 months

– Credits: 28

These hybrid-format programs cover key cybersecurity topics such as Offensive & Defensive Security, Cyber Intelligence & Investigation, Cyber Forensics & Incident Response, Dark Web, Cloud Security, Network Security, and Cryptography. Over 40 national experts in the fields of cybersecurity, law enforcement, and national security will lead the courses, providing practical, hands-on experience.

The initiative aims to equip participants with the skills to protect information systems and effectively combat cybercrime, addressing the growing need for cybersecurity expertise in an increasingly digital world.

Prof. Dr. Suresh Gosavi, Vice Chancellor of SPPU, expressed confidence that these industry-driven programs will offer significant career benefits for students. “This initiative marks a significant step toward building a more secure digital environment,” added Prof. Dr. Parag Kalkar, Pro Vice Chancellor of SPPU.
