IIM Lucknow and FPSB Join Forces for a New Financial Planning Certificate Program
The Indian Institute of Management Lucknow (IIM Lucknow) is teaming up with the Financial Planning Standards Board (FPSB) to launch a new Financial Planning Certificate program in the 2024-25 academic session. This collaboration aims to address the growing demand for skilled professionals in the financial planning sector.
At the MoU signing event, Professor Archana Shukla, Director-in-Charge of IIM Lucknow, highlighted the institute’s commitment to delivering education that not only broadens knowledge but also equips students with practical skills for the evolving financial industry. She noted, “Modern financial challenges need innovative solutions. Our partnership with FPSB India reflects our dedication to industry-relevant education and collaboration. As we strive for a ‘Viksit Bharat,’ it’s essential that our Finance and Accounting curriculum remains dynamic and prepares students to tackle new financial challenges effectively.”
Prof. Vikas Srivastava, Dean (Programmes) at IIM Lucknow, emphasized the importance of the new program, stating that this partnership will help develop a new generation of skilled financial planners.
