Uttar Pradesh Government Undertakes Major Bureaucratic Reshuffle: 10 IAS Officers Transferred to Key Positions
In a significant administrative reorganization, the Uttar Pradesh government has transferred 10 IAS officers across various key positions. Chandra Vijay Singh has assumed office as the new District Magistrate (DM) of Ayodhya, succeeding Nitish Kumar. Nitish Kumar, the outgoing DM, has been appointed as Commissioner of the Azamgarh Division.
Among other notable appointments, Sujata Singh has been designated as the Secretary of Urban Development, and Ajay Shankar Pandey has been reassigned as Secretary of Agriculture. Vineet Kumar has been appointed as the Special Secretary of the Home Department, while Shashi Prakash Goyal has taken charge as the Divisional Commissioner of Varanasi. Ravi Ranjan now serves as the Special Secretary of Revenue, and Abhay Kumar Singh has been appointed as the Additional Director of Administration in the State Health Department.
Further, Nidhi Kesarwani has been appointed as the Chief Development Officer of Lucknow, and Anupam Shukla has assumed the role of Deputy Secretary in the Finance Department.
