IIM Bangalore has unveiled a new undergraduate program, “Digital Business and Entrepreneurship,” offered online via its digital learning platform, IIMBx.

Applications for this Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) program will open on June 15, 2024, with classes commencing in September 2024. The program will be led by Professor Suresh Bhagavatula, a prominent faculty member in the Entrepreneurship department at IIM Bangalore. This three-year course will include internships and practical projects to enhance students’ hands-on experience.

The BBA program aims to blend digital technology with business management and entrepreneurial skills, providing a robust foundation for students in today’s competitive business landscape. IIM Bangalore highlighted that the program aligns with the new education policy, offering a flexible exit option. The courses will be delivered online and asynchronously, with recorded sessions to accommodate students from diverse backgrounds. Admission will be based on an entrance test.

“We have structured the program to be as engaging and interactive as possible, designed to meet the needs of students from various streams while ensuring flexibility and quality education,” stated Professor Rishikesha T Krishnan, Director of IIM Bangalore.
