AI in education

Preparing Students in a dynamic environment that is constantly changing has been a top challenge for educators today. From cultivating soft skills to emphasizing the importance of holistic learning and training them with industry-ready skillsets — there is so much that has changed from the traditional setup of the education system.

National Education Policy has been a key factor in all the transformation that is happening in the education realm. According to the findings of CollPoll NEP Survey 2022, more than 95 per cent of the institutions listed technology as the key enabler for the effective implementation of NEP. Over 63 per cent of respondents noted that technology adoption and effective planning for policy implementation and rollout will be a key accelerator for NEP adoption.

In today’s rapidly evolving job market, academic institutions must adapt their curriculum to not only impart traditional academic knowledge but also to cultivate essential soft skills in students. At Galgotias University, we recognize the importance of this holistic approach to education. To better incorporate soft skills development alongside traditional academic subjects, we have implemented several strategies. Firstly, we have redesigned our curriculum to include dedicated modules focused on communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and leadership. These modules are integrated seamlessly into our courses, providing students with practical opportunities to develop and apply these skills.

Additionally, we have introduced experiential learning initiatives such as group projects, case studies, and internships, which further reinforce soft skill development. Furthermore, our faculty members undergo training and professional development to effectively impart these skills to students, ensuring a comprehensive and impactful learning experience.
