NHAI Urges Paytm FASTag Users to Transition to Other Bank FASTags by March 15, 2024
New Delhi: The National Highway Authority of India has issued guidance for Paytm FASTag holders, advising them to obtain a new FASTag from another bank before March 15, 2024. This advisory aims to facilitate smooth travel and prevent any inconvenience at toll plazas, thus avoiding penalties or double charges while using National Highways.
Aligned with Reserve Bank of India directives regarding limitations on Paytm Payments Bank, users of Paytm FASTags won’t be able to recharge or add funds post the mentioned date. Nevertheless, they can utilize their existing balance for toll payments beyond this deadline.
For inquiries or assistance regarding Paytm FASTag, users are encouraged to contact their respective banks or consult the FAQs on the IHMCL website. NHAI emphasizes the importance of proactive action by all Paytm FASTag users to ensure hassle-free travel on National Highways nationwide.
