New Delhi: According to a recent directive issued by the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet 6 IAS Officers have been transferred and appointed new roles.

Among notable appointments, Deepak Narain, IA&AS (1993) has been appointed as Additional Secretary & Financial Advisor at the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.

Nidhi Chhibber, IAS (CG: 1994) serving as Chairperson, Central Board of Secondary Education has been transferred and appointed as Advisor at NITI Aayog.

A.P Das Joshi, IAS (AM:94) has been transferred and appointed as Additional Secretary at the Department of Personnel & Training, Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions.

Rahul Singh, IAS (Bihar: 1996) serving as Additional Secretary at the Department of Personnel & Training, Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions has been transferred and appointed as Chairperson, Central Board of Secondary Education.

Rajeev Kumar Mital, IAS (MH: 1998), Additional Secretary & Financial Advisor, Department of Atomic Energy has been transferred and appointed as Director General, National Mission for Clean Ganga, Department of Water Resources, River Development & Ganga Rejuvenation, Ministry of Jal Shakti.

Gyanesh Bharti, IAS (AGMUT:98), presently in the cadre has been appointed as Additional Secretary, Ministry of Women and Child Development by temporarily upgrading a vacant post of Joint Secretary in the Ministry.
