New Delhi: In a recent administrative reshuffle, Ankur Jain, IPS, recently appointed as Commissioner of Transport in Assam, has been elevated to the Selection Grade of IPS. Jain, a 2011 batch IPS officer, previously served as the Mission Director of Assam Skill Development Mission.

Additionally, Shambhavi Mishra, IPS (RR-2019), Assistant Superintendent of Police, Udalguri, has been transferred and appointed as Sub-Divisional Police Officer, Margherita, Tinsukia, replacing Shri Hemanta Kr. Boro, APS.

Somalin Subhadarsini, IPS (RR-2019), Assistant Superintendent of Police, Goalpara, is now posted as Assistant Commissioner of Police, Jalukbari, Police Commissionerate, Guwahati, succeeding Shri Ditumoni Goswami, APS.

Furthermore, Nishant Saurabh, IPS (RR-2020), Assistant Superintendent of Police, Sivasagar, has been reassigned as Assistant Commissioner of Police, Dispur, Police Commissionerate, Guwahati, filling an existing vacancy.
