New Delhi: A Y V Krishna, a seasoned IPS officer from the Assam-Meghalaya cadre of 1995, has recently been empanelled to the position of Additional Director General/Equivalent at the Government of India.

Prior to this significant appointment, Krishna held the role of Inspector General within the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), showcasing his commendable leadership in the realm of law enforcement.

Notably, he has demonstrated his expertise by spearheading the CID Assam team in various complex cases, adding to his distinguished career in the realm of security and policing.
