Government of Punjab Shuffles Administrative Roles; Significant Changes in Officer Appointments

New Delhi: The Government of Punjab has recently issued an order announcing a reshuffle in key administrative positions. In this restructuring, one IAS Officer and three PCB Officers have been transferred to assume new responsibilities.

Parminder Pal Singh, IAS (2016), who held the position of Managing Director at PUNCOM and concurrently served as Executive Director at BACKFINCO, has been appointed as the Project Director for a World Bank project within the Department of Education. Additionally, Singh will take on the role of Additional Secretary for School Education.

Amaninder Kaur, PCS Officer (2012), is now the Director at the State Council of Educational Research and Training in Punjab, marking a significant shift in her professional responsibilities.

Sanjeev Sharma, also a PCS Officer (2012), will assume the position of Joint Secretary in the Higher Education and Languages department, contributing to the enhancement of the state's educational landscape.

Furthermore, Paramjit Singh, PCS Officer (2016), has been appointed as the Director of School Education (Secondary) in Punjab, underscoring the government's commitment to ensuring a robust educational framework in the state.
