Prashant Dewangan Appointed as India Marketing Lead – Data Center Solutions at Iron Mountain

Prashant Dewangan has stepped into a pivotal new role as India Marketing Lead – Data Center Solutions at Iron Mountain Data Centers, bringing with him over a decade of diverse B2B marketing leadership across the IT and telecom sectors.

In his new capacity, Dewangan will be responsible for spearheading strategic marketing initiatives focused on increasing market share, driving pipeline growth, and enhancing brand visibility for Iron Mountain’s secure and compliant colocation, hyperscale, and interconnection offerings across the Indian subcontinent. His role is expected to be central to Iron Mountain’s efforts to expand its data center footprint in India amid growing demand for resilient and regulation-ready infrastructure.

With deep expertise in integrated campaigns, field marketing, and digital strategies, Prashant has previously led successful marketing transformations at firms like Web Werks Data Centers, where he played an instrumental role in amplifying brand presence during its joint venture and eventual acquisition by Iron Mountain. His leadership helped align marketing functions with business objectives, contributing directly to enterprise growth and customer engagement.

Prior to his time at Web Werks, Prashant held senior marketing roles at IceWarp India, STL (Sterlite Technologies), Sophos, Sify Technologies, Capgemini, and Mitel, where he managed cross-regional campaigns, brand development, and marketing operations across APAC, MEA, and global teams. His early career with Airtel saw him champion the telecom giant’s rebranding campaign in Mumbai, earning notable gains in visibility and brand recall.

An alumnus of Symbiosis Institute of Digital & Telecom Management (SIDTM) and a graduate in Computer Science from Shri Shankaracharya Technical Campus, Prashant blends technical acumen with a keen understanding of marketing’s role in enterprise transformation.
