CBSE Declares Class 12 Board Exam Results for 2025: 88.39% Pass Rate

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has officially announced the Class 12 examination results for the academic year 2024–25. Students who appeared for the exams can now access their results through the official websites: results.cbse.gov.in, results.cbse.nic.in, and cbseresults.nic.in.
The Class 12 board examinations were conducted from February 15 to April 4, 2025, across various centers in India. Approximately 44 lakh students participated in these examinations. This year, the overall pass percentage has risen to 88.39%, indicating a notable improvement in student performance compared to previous years. The CBSE has also released the list of top-performing districts and individual toppers, highlighting exceptional academic achievements across the country.
To facilitate easy access to the results, CBSE has provided multiple platforms including Official Websites, DigiLocker and UMANG app. Students can visit results.cbse.gov.in, results.cbse.nic.in, or cbseresults.nic.in to view their results.
To access the scorecard, students need to enter their roll number, school number, and admit card ID on the result page. The mark sheet will include subject-wise scores, grades, and overall performance status. CBSE has also made digital versions of the mark sheets and pass certificates available via DigiLocker. Students who have registered with DigiLocker can log in at cbse.digitallocker.gov.in using their mobile number or Aadhaar-linked credentials. Schools have shared unique access codes with students to facilitate secure login and retrieval of documents. In addition to DigiLocker, students can use the UMANG app (Unified Mobile Application for New-age Governance) to view their results. The app is available for download on both Android and iOS platforms and allows students to check their results remotely.
