Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals has announced the appointment of Tanmay Prusty as its Chief Marketing Officer, effective February 24, 2025. The decision was formally approved by the company’s Board of Directors on February 23, 2025, as stated in a regulatory filing: “The Board of Directors of the company have today i.e. on February 23, 2025, approved the appointment of Tanmay Prusty as chief marketing officer designated as senior management personnel of the company with effect from February 24, 2025.”

With a career spanning two decades, Prusty brings extensive expertise in marketing, brand management, and strategic leadership. Prior to joining Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals, he served as the Business Unit Head at Tata Consumer Products’ Capital Foods, where he played a crucial role in driving growth and market expansion. His professional journey includes notable stints with Amazon, Reckitt Benckiser, and ITC, where he contributed significantly to brand positioning and consumer engagement.

Prusty’s academic credentials further reinforce his strategic and analytical prowess. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics from NIT Jamshedpur (2003) and a PGDM/MBA in Marketing and Finance from XLRI Jamshedpur (2005). His background in both technology and business strategy has enabled him to navigate the evolving consumer landscape effectively.
