Noida-Based YES Madam Faces Backlash Over Employee Termination Initiative, Clarifies Intentions

YES Madam

Noida-based doorstep beauty platform YES Madam sparked controversy after reports surfaced of employees being abruptly terminated under stress, as detailed in a viral LinkedIn post. However, the company later clarified that the move was part of a campaign to raise awareness about workplace stress.

The viral post alleged that YES Madam had sent emails to stressed employees, informing them of immediate termination, a move that drew widespread criticism on social media. Users questioned the company’s sensitivity and approach to employee well-being.

In response, YES Madam issued an apology on LinkedIn, expressing regret for any distress caused by the campaign. The company clarified that it “would never take such a step” and emphasized that the action was intended to spotlight the importance of addressing workplace stress.

To reaffirm its commitment to employee wellness, YES Madam announced two new initiatives. The ‘Happy 2 Heal’ program will provide in-office head massages and spa sessions to help employees relax. Additionally, the company introduced a ‘De-stress Leave Policy,’ granting employees up to six paid mental health leaves annually, along with complimentary spa sessions at home.

These measures aim to promote mental well-being and demonstrate the company’s dedication to fostering a supportive work environment.
