Mukesh Ambani-Backed Startup to Launch Humanoid Robots in 2025

Humanoid Robots

Noida-based Addverb Technologies, supported by Indian billionaire Mukesh Ambani, is set to unveil its first humanoid robot in 2025, according to a Bloomberg report.

The robots are designed to cater to industries such as fashion, retail, and energy, marking Ambani’s foray into a competitive space dominated by global players like Elon Musk’s Tesla, Boston Dynamics, Agility Robotics, and various Chinese firms.

Addverb CEO Sangeet Kumar highlighted the potential applications of the humanoid robots but did not disclose pricing or specific functionalities. This move positions Ambani, Asia’s richest person, as a key player challenging U.S. and Chinese advancements in robotics.

Ambani’s ventures in AI and robotics also include support for Hanooman AI, launched earlier this year by BharatGPT, further expanding his footprint in emerging technologies.
