Effective July 1, 2024, Rushabh Gandhi has taken over as the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer (MD & CEO) of IndiaFirst Life Insurance Company Limited (IndiaFirst Life). Rushabh, who previously served as Deputy CEO of IndiaFirst Life, brings nearly three decades of experience in the BFSI sector to his new role.

Debadatta Chand, Chairperson of IndiaFirst Life and Managing Director & CEO of Bank of Baroda, congratulated Rushabh Gandhi on his appointment, highlighting his strategic leadership and commitment to customer-centric growth. Chand expressed confidence in Gandhi’s ability to lead IndiaFirst Life towards achieving ambitious growth targets, including the national initiative “Insurance for All by 2047.”

Expressing his honor at assuming the position, Rushabh Gandhi emphasized IndiaFirst Life’s commitment to customer service and technological innovation across its extensive distribution network. Gandhi succeeds Vishakha R.M., under whose leadership the company achieved significant milestones before her retirement on June 30, 2024.
