Cleartrip has appointed Anuj Rathi as its new Chief Business and Growth Officer, according to Rathi’s LinkedIn post on Thursday. Rathi, a former executive at Flipkart, previously served as the Chief Product and Marketing Officer at fintech firm Jupiter. He takes over from Ayyappan R, a long-time Flipkart executive who left Cleartrip earlier this year.

Following Ayyappan’s departure, Cleartrip had been operating without a chief executive. The exit of Chief Financial Officer Aditya Agarwal compounded the leadership void at the travel booking platform.

In his LinkedIn announcement, Rathi expressed his enthusiasm for joining the travel industry and working with Cleartrip’s team. He aims to build and motivate a top-notch team to drive the company’s growth and enhance its reputation as a beloved brand in India.
