Tamil Nadu Government Reshuffles Administrative Roles with Transfer of 5 IAS Officers

New Delhi: In a recent directive from the Government of Tamil Nadu, a significant administrative reshuffle has taken place, involving the transfer and reassignment of five IAS officers to key positions.

Dr. L Subramanian, IAS, previously serving as the Commissioner of Agriculture, has been transferred to the role of Secretary to Government, Tamil Development and Information Department.

Tmt. Jayashree Muralidharan, IAS, formerly Secretary to Government, Welfare of Differently Abled Persons, is now appointed Secretary to Government, Social Welfare and Women Empowerment Department.

Thiru S. Nagarajan, IAS, who held the position of Commissioner of Land Administration, is reassigned as Secretary to Government, Welfare of Differently Abled Persons Department, along with full additional charge of Secretary to Government, Human Resources Management Department.

Dr. K.S. Palanisamy, IAS, who served as Commissioner of Fisheries and Managing Director, Tamil Nadu Fisheries Development Corporation, has been posted as the new Commissioner of Land Administration.

Thiru Shunchonngam Jatak Chiru, IAS, formerly the Principal Secretary to the Government, Social Welfare and Women Empowerment Department, has been transferred to the role of Principal Secretary/Commissioner of Fisheries in this latest administrative shuffle.
