Major shuffle in Uttarakhand Administration, Ranvir Singh Chauhan IAS assigned additional role

New Delhi: Amit Negi, a 1999 batch IAS officer, has been appointed as the Principal Secretary of the Government of Uttarakhand while currently serving on central deputation.

The Uttarakhand government has elevated the status of several senior officers, including the promotion of 2008 batch IAS officer Sridhar Babu Addanki to the position of Secretary, who is also on central deputation.

Additionally, officers from the 2015 batch, Himanshu Khurana, Abhishek Ruhela, Nitika Khandelwal, and Navneet Pandey, have been promoted to level 12.

In another significant move, IAS officer Ranvir Singh Chauhan has been given the additional responsibility of the Department of Pay Jal Nigam Uttarakhand, where he is presently serving as Managing Director. This decision, made by the Uttarakhand government, also involves the nomination of link officers for IAS positions.
