Government Unveils Major Administrative Reshuffle in Telangana

New Delhi: In a significant development, the Telangana state government has announced a comprehensive reshuffling of top administrative positions, impacting key departments and roles.

Rahul Bojja IAS (Telangana 2000), who was serving as Secretary of the General Administration Department, will now lead the Irrigation & CAD Department, bringing his extensive experience to bear on critical water management issues.

Smita Sabharwal IAS (Telangana 2001), previously serving as Secretary to the Chief Minister, will now serve as the Member Secretary of the Telangana Finance Commission, bringing her administrative acumen to financial planning and governance.

Harichandana Dasari IAS (Telangana 2010), the former Director of Municipal Administration and State Nodal Officer, Prajavani, has been appointed as the Collector and District Magistrate of Nalgonda, ushering in her expertise in municipal affairs to the district level.

Bharati Hollikeri IAS (Telangana 2010), previously awaiting a posting, has been entrusted with the role of Director of Archaeology, succeeding Shailaja Ramaiyer, IAS (1997), in a move expected to bolster heritage and cultural preservation efforts.

Aisha Masrat Khanam IAS (Telangana 2015), the former Joint Secretary of PR & RD Department, is set to take charge as Secretary of the TS Minorities Residential Educational Institutions Society, demonstrating the government’s commitment to minority education.

S Sangeetha Satyanarayana IAS (Telangana 2015), currently Managing Director of TS Foods, has been reassigned to the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) as Joint Secretary, showcasing the government’s focus on strategic roles.

Abhilasha Abhinav IAS (Telangana 2018), eagerly awaiting a posting, is slated to take on the role of Zonal Commissioner at the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC), reinforcing the administration’s focus on urban development.
