Bihar State Government Promotes 8 IAS Officers to Joint Secretary Roles

New Delhi: The Bihar State Government has recently announced the elevation of eight IAS officers to the Joint Secretary level, a move aimed at reinforcing the administrative structure. Noteworthy among the newly promoted officials are Sub-Divisional Officers from key districts, including Patna Sadar and Patna City.

As per the official directive, the following officers have been raised to the Joint Secretary rank:

– Shrestha Anupam – Sub-Divisional Officer, Motihari Sadar

– Abhishek Palasia – Sub-Divisional Officer, Bihar Sharif, Nalanda District

– Dr. Anupama Singh – Sub-Divisional Officer, Western Champaran (Bagha)

– Chandrima Attri – Sub-Divisional Officer, Darbhanga

– Kumar Nishant Vivek – Sub-Divisional Officer, Sonpur

– Shrikant Kundlik Khandekar – Sub-Divisional Officer, Patna (Sadar)

– Gunjan Singh – Sub-Divisional Officer, Patna City

This development is expected to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the state’s administrative machinery.
