Only 22 Countries In The World Have Escaped the British Rule; Listed Here

If you were born and raised in India it is highly likely you must have grown up reading about the Imperialist British Rule in India and across the globe. But have you ever wondered how many countries were in some way lucky to have escaped Colonialism? Well, ironically British historian Stuart Laycock did after his son asked him this question. He dug into the history of almost 195 independent nations across the world (as of 2018) and found out only 22 countries have managed to escape British rule. 

 

Great Britain at some point had global domination of 88%. Here is a list of countries it could not dominate.
