1-   Bharat Pay in talks to raise a fresh round of funding- Fintech startup Bharat Pay is in talks with Hong Kong-based Steadview Capital for raising yet another round of funding. It is estimated the startup will raise close to $75 Million this time. However, no official word has come out yet on the amount of funding. 

 

2-   MyScoot Raises 1.7 million funding-Gurugram based events marketplace has closed a $1.7 Mn seed funding from VC (Venture Capitalists) such as Lightspeed India Partners, Venture Highway and Mayfield India. The company says the funds will be utilized to hire core team, recruit tech talent, and penetrate deeper into the market. 

 

3-   Paytm Money to start stockbroking and pension schemes-Digital investment platform Paytm money is planning to begin stick broking and sales of National Pension Scheme, exchanged-traded funds(ETF’s) and other financial instruments during this financial year. Paytm Money already sells mutual funds on its platforms and claims to have clocked 40 per cent share in the direct mutual fund's segment in India. 

 

4-  Digital Entertainment firm Pocket Aces raises Rs 100 cr-  Mumbai based digital entertainment company Pocket Aces has raised 100 cr from Sequoia India, DSP Group and 3one4 Capital. The company aims to utilize the fresh funds in content, technology and talent. The firm aims to hit a run rate if one billion video views on original content by 2020. 

 

5-  MindTickle raises $40 Mn in series C funding- San Francisco and Bengaluru based sales enablement platform MindTickle, has raised $40 Mn in series C funding led by Norwest Venture Partners. This brings MindTickle’s total funding raised to more than $81 million.
