Japan declares end of coronavirus emergency

Japan’s Prime Minister, Shinzo Abe declared an end to the coronavirus emergency in Japan. The state of emergency was in place for Tokyo and four other parts putting a curb on the economy of the country. 

Japan has witnessed 16, 600 confirmed Covid-19 cases, and 850 deaths so far. Recent infection cases have fallen below 50, the PM said, announcing the end of the emergency. He advised people to avoid the three C’s - closed spaces, closed contact, and crowded places as the end of emergency doesn't mean the end of the virus outbreak. 

Japan, the world’s third-largest economy has fallen into recession due to the coronavirus lockdown.
