Infosys CEO salary package will make you want to raid your HR’s office

As per media reports, Infosys, India's major IT firm paid a whopping salary to its current CEO Salil Parekh. Parekh’s take-home salary for the year 2018 is estimated to be 24.67 cr as per a report Infosys shared in its BSE filing.

Parekh joined Infosys in Jan 2018 has reportedly received Rs 6.07 crore in fixed salary and Rs 10.96 crore in bonus, incentives and variable pay in 2018-19. He also received Rs 7.64 crore in perquisites on account of the exercise of 1,03,604 restricted stock units (RSUs) during fiscal 2019, the annual report said. 

Infosys has also announced last week that Parekh will get shares worth Rs 10 crore under a new employee stock option plan that the IT major launched for its employees as part of its revised performance criteria for the top executive.


In response to such generosity by the company Parekh has said- "By making employees owners, they get an opportunity to be beneficiaries in the long-term success of the company and realize the results of their work and dedication.”


Under Parekh’s mentorship, the company has grown on 9 per cent fiscal growth in constant currency.
